My Adventures at Lemans 2000, France-Germany-Austria Trip Details

Sat-Day 3-Lemans continues into the night-Sunday Day 4

Audi Wins 1-2-3 !!

1. The elevator ride continues into the night.
2. The cars continue to run round and round the 8+ mile race course through the night.
3. The activities at the hospitality tents goes on into the night.
4. One car heads into the Ford Chicane, the other pulls into the pits in the darkness.
5. We take a look at the paddock area, behind the pit/garages.
6. Audi Sport works into the night behind the pit/garage area.

8. Car #8 (Biela, Kristensen, and Pirro) pit crew awaits their car.
9. Car # 8 gets some attention and a quick look over.
10. Car #9 (Mcnish, Ortelli, Aiello) pit crew waits patiently.
11. Car #9 gets some needed fuel and attention, we head to our home for some needed rest at 2:30AM.
12. Sunday morning we see some nice Audis in the parking lot.

14. Our morning ritual, Crepes laced with Grand Marnier
15. A nice RS2 cruises by...
16. The PT cruiser from Chrysler is in full force at the event.
17. The Audi All-Road makes an appearance
18. Looks good up front.
19. Back end is good as well
20. An Audi S3 is spied in the parking lot.
21. The Audi crowd begins to celebrate the 1-2-3 win!
22. We did it! Give me a high 5!
23. Souvenir hats for everyone!
24. The Audi Hospitality gang finally gets to celebrate.
25. Now that is what I call a celebration cake!
26. If I move to Germany, will you marry me?
27. I hope I can get this thing started and drive it out of here!
